You have TWO chances to Meet EAGLE SCOUT AUTHOR ALVIN TOWNLEY!

At Barnes & Noble on May 27th and at the Eagle Banquet on May 28th

Nationally-acclaimed author Alvin Townley will be available to sign his new book on Eagle Scouts at Barnes & Noble in the Bellevue Square on Wednesday May 27th from 4:30pm to 6:00pm. The book, Spirit of Adventure, showcases America’s next generation of leaders: Eagle Scouts in their 20s and 30s, who are shaping our future by leading lives marked by service, perseverance, adventure, and purpose. Townley captured many diverse stories in a round-the-world journey that became an adventure in itself.

Townley is in town for the 48th Annual Eagle Scout Banquet where hundreds of Eagle Scouts, young and old, will be gathering for a special dinner. Three college scholarships will be awarded to Scouts for their achievements. Last year 403 young men earned the rank of Eagle Scout in the Chief Seattle Council.

If you would like to attend the dinner please contact the Boy Scout office at 206-725-5200 or go online at www.seattlebsa.org for more information or to make reservations.
